Honeywood House is a tastefully converted manor house set in 10 acres of grounds, we are offer long term care and nursing care for the elderly and frail. (Aged 65+)

The home is setup and run as a charity and overseen by the trustee’s several of whom work day to day with the residents.

Our objective is that Honeywood House becomes your Home and to ensure a smooth transition from Home or Hospital maintaining quality of life and independence whilst providing the care and nursing you require in a safe and homely environment. 

Our Philosophy of Care

It is the overall philosophy of Honeywood House that each resident should be viewed as an individual with basic rights of privacy, dignity and respect.

We Believe our aims of nursing care to be:

To endeavor to provide a homely, caring, safe and tranquil environment.

To implement and maintain a planned approach to nursing care where emphasis is placed on the promotion of independence wherever possible, but also to identify self-care deficits when they arise.

It is our responsibility as professionals to prepare and encourage genuine teamwork within this multi-disciplinary setting.

Finally, we recognise the importance of maintaining a quality of living and we will do all we can to help until life ends
